Respawn Entertainment Reveals Name and Setting of Star Wars Project; Coming Holiday 2019

During their E3 conference today amid a very weird low key back and forth conversation in the crowd, EA's Vince Zampella announced Jedi: Fallen Order.

Respawn, perhaps best known recently for the Titanfall series, is going to have a small "tidbit" of a presence at E3, according to CEO Vince Zampella. The concept does sound pretty good though.

Jedi: Fallen Order is a third-person action-adventure game, and it's slated for release during holiday 2019. With a title like that, it's probably not hard to discern what the game is about, but we'll dive into what we know below. There's plenty of uncharted territory, and focusing on a Jedi trying to survive on the run is quite the intriguing prospect.

We don't know much more about the game's story yet, but plenty went down in the period between Episodes III and IV that Respawn could hook us into.

Respawn Entertainment, the studio comprised of ex-Call of Duty developers and current makers of Titanfall, have three projects in the works.

Firstly, let's look at the studio: Respawn Entertainment. Players will control a Jedi in Fallen Order, but no indication was made as to specifically "who" they might be controlling.

Stay tuned for more details as the game's development continues. Timeline wise, it takes place between episodes Star Wars episode 3 and episode 4.
