Liverpool are not expected to make a bid for Alisson

Alisson has been strongly linked with Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp seeks to upgrade the No.1 spot this summer, and the Brazilian stopper has seemingly become the Reds' first-choice.

Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker hopes to have his future resolved before Brazil begin their World Cup campaign against Switzerland on Sunday.

'There are many possibilities on which we are working, but always together with Roma and with respect to my club.

The Roma custodian wants his future sorted out before the start of the World Cup, enabling him to give Brazil his fullest commitment and concentration. "We'll see if something happens during this week".

The 25-year-old is widely expected to leave Roma this summer with Real Madrid a potential target, and if he has a good tournament with Brazil at the World Cup, his fee could rise even higher which may definitely end any lingering interest the Anfield side have of capturing him.

He will start for Brazil at this summer's World Cup in Russian Federation, but before that kicks off he wants a deal wrapped up.

'The truth is that I left everything in the hands of my agent.

He told UOL Esporte: 'I think everything will be resolved before the start of the World Cup, that's what I want.

Liverpool FC are believed to be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer as they bid to try and build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

He is very happy with Roma and the transfer rumours are just rumours. It does not necessarily represent the position of Liverpool Football Club.
