EA Outlines E3 Program for Anthem, Expect More Gameplay and Behind-the-Scenes Look

Anthem Teases Return to EA Play at E3 2018

Anthem Gets an E3 Teaser Video; New Trailer, Gameplay Footage, and More Coming at EA Play

Since Anthem's reveal a year ago, fans have been debating how specific combat-related features in the game could operate.

In a note from the studio they reveal the new artwork and details regarding upcoming videos for the game on their Facebook page. It's all going down during EA Play, where we'll likely hear a whole lot more about Anthem ahead of the official E3 2018 shows.

The full trailer for Anthem will be released on Saturday, June 9, during the EA Play 2018 event scheduled to broadcast at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT. The clip is all of three seconds long, and doesn't really show much at all, other than a few grunts wandering through what seems to be a cave-like environment. This new trailer will also show more about the story as well as the monsters/characters that we'll be fighting throughout the game. We've already received a short insight into its gameplay previous year but the publisher will show off even more next week.

One thing we'll be showing in-depth this time around is combat.

Along with hearing from the developers themselves, we'll be showing off some of the concept and production art of Anthem. General manager Casey Hudson, executive producer Mark Darrah, and lead writer Cathleen Rootsaert will take the stage.

Anthem is now scheduled for release at some point in early 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
