Hitman 2 will arrive November 13 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. There will be "tons and tons of post-launch content".

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and independent game developer, IO Interactive, today announced Hitman 2, the follow-up to the acclaimed global video game, Hitman, with a brand-new trailer.

"We are thrilled to partner with IO Interactive on Hitman 2 and bring the latest game in this iconic franchise to the passionate Hitman fanbase and new players", said David Haddad, President of Warner Bros. You're going to travel the world, visit exotic locations and assassinate targets in creative ways as per the series tradition.

The game will also get a Silver Edition, a Gold Edition, and a Collector's Edition. Sniper Assassin allows you to team up with a buddy for the kill and it does look like a bit craic. From Hitman 2's price, release date, PC specifications, and gameplay details, all of has been laid bare. Elverdam also mentioned, "the story is getting much closer to Diana and Agent 47 as they hunt the Shadow Client". Interestingly, it's available today in early access for those who pre-order Hitman 2. From sun-drenched streets to dark and unsafe rainforests, each intricate location provides multiple paths to discover and unparalleled game depth. Those who preorder the Gold or Collector's Edition can play the game four days before release.

In addition to the base game, there is now a standalone mode that two players can tackle cooperatively named Sniper Assassin, but players are welcome to try it solo as well.
