Devil May Cry 5 Announced For Next Year

Devil May Cry 5 Xbox One

CAPCOMDevil May Cry 5 is announced for Xbox One

Here's a look at the new E3 2018 trailer for Devil May Cry 5... The trailer shows a shorter haired Nero with a new robotic metal arm made by his mechanic sidekick Nico. Devil May Cry 5 is set "several years" after the events of DMC 4. Maybe it's the short hair. Longtime fans of the series will be happy to know that it's a true sequel titled Devil May Cry 5. Check out the trailer for yourself below. A "demon tree" takes root in Red Grave City and attracts the attention of Nero, an ally to "DMC" protagonist Dante. You once again play as Nero, who's lost his arm in an unknown incident, and is battling his way through Red Grave City for some reason.

Last, but certainly not least, below you can enjoy the first screenshots, handsome character artwork showcasing Nero and Nico, and the official box art, alongside the key artwork. It's even nicer to get to see what it's all about. However, there's no word on this time regarding when the next Devil May Cry will be released.

Preorder Devil May Cry 5 for Xbox One and PS4. With the start of E3 2018, more information on Capcom's next big game will trickle in so stay tuned for updates. While there was a sort of reboot previously in the series, the franchise has returned to the story of Nero and presumably Dante.

Earlier this year, Capcom launched the Devil May Cry HD Collection for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
