- NYC PBA (@NYCPBA) June 24, 2018INTERIM UPDATE: We have made arrests regarding the murder of 15-yr-old Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz. It was there he was dragged outside and slashed several and stabbed several times, the fatal blow to his neck.
Mayor Bill de Blasio Monday said he had spoken to Guzman-Feliz's mother and told her he wanted to figure out a way to honor the teen through the Explorers program, of which he was a member.
If you have been on social media the last few days, you may have seen the hashtag #JusticeforJunior for Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, also known as Junior, who was killed after getting into an altercation with five men outside a Bronx corner store, commonly known as a bodega.
The Anthonys spoke to the parents of 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, but there's no word on what they said or possibly did for the grieving family, reports the NY Daily News.
That victim survived the incident, but remains in the hospital in critical condition after losing a kidney.
Guzman-Feliz was described as "a snazzy dresser who liked jeans and Air Jordans".
Police said Guzman-Feliz knew the suspects and the stabbing may have been gang-related, though Guzman-Feliz-who had no criminal record-was not a part of a gang. Another video clip shows him stumbling back inside the deli after the attack, bleeding, and a man behind the counter apparently ordering him out.
Thousands of people visited a Southern Boulevard funeral parlor to pay their respects to a slain Bronx teen for the second straight day Tuesday.
It was reportedly a case of mistaken identity and one gang member went so far as to post an apology on social media for the teen's killing. A GoFundMe page has already raised over $150,000 for Guzman-Feliz's family, including $8,000 from Bronx native and rapper Cardi B.
"I'm very thankful for the support from everybody. I want my son with me".
