A superb second-half strike from Adnan Januzaj gave Belgium a 1-0 win over England on Thursday to see them top World Cup Group G with a ideal record and consign England to second place, with both sides already assured of going through to the last 16.

Batshuayi made the howler when picking the ball out of the England net following Januzaj's peach of a goal and attempting to stylishly fire the ball skywards.

Neither Belgium or England wants to win their Group G game.

There is, though, something presumptuous about such talk and Colombia, a team with plenty of talent, certainly won't appreciate being considered part of an "easier path" to the quarter-finals.

Tielemans and Leander Dendoncker both went into the book early to cheers from the Belgian fans.

Degryse said of former Manchester United midfielder Januzaj: "Immediately after the break we saw a class flash from Januzaj, who showed that he deserves his selection".

Fortunately, the player has no major injuries.
