Zidane Zidane gives Cristiano Ronaldo injury update ahead of Champions League final clash against Liverpool

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is not concerned by the injury Cristiano Ronaldo sustained in the El Classico on Sunday night.

Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said afterwards that Ronaldo was anxious as the joint had swollen, but said that ahead of tests to be carried out on Monday, Ronaldo was confident there was no serious injury.

"He said it wasn't much, but we'll see tomorrow".

And Zidane denied putting a time frame on Ronaldo's injury absence, despite the Champions League final against Liverpool being just three weeks away.

Speaking after the game, however, Real manager Zinedine Zidane said "we're not anxious about the final", but added that "I can't say how long he'll be out for".
