The rumors about the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 was going around quite sometime now, but Xiaomi is going to launch phone soon. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is now starts at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage. According to leaks, Xiaomi Redmi S2 could come in 3 variants i.e. 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
As per new revelations, the new Redmi S2 is expected to have a 4,205mAh battery and will be sporting the latest Android 8.1 Oreo. A 4,000 mAh battery in the Note 5 Pro is good 100 mAh less than Note 4, yet it manages to deliver nearly the same on-battery time or even better.
The Mi A2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset which offers the added power of four Kryo 260 cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
As for the specifications, the Redmi S2 could sport a 5.99-inch HD+ display. Xiaomi has said that the revised pricing for the Mi TV 4 is a result of the changes in tax structure on PCBA imports where a 10 cent per cent import duty was introduced on imports and the depreciation of the Indian Rupee since the beginning of the year. Notably, the price hike is only mentioned for the 4GB variant. To be more precise, Xiaomi is facing huge demand for these products in India, and in order to meet this demand, the company is importing PCBAs for the Redmi Note 5 Pro as the local production could only hit 100% by CY Q3 2018.
Asus has also confirmed the 6GB RAM variant, priced at Rs 14,999, which will go on sale later.
For Photography, the Xiaomi Mi 7 Plus comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 20MP primary and a 12MP secondary sensor. However, the cost of Mi TV 4A (43-inch) and Mi TV 4A (32-inch) remains unchanged - Rs 22,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. The new Redmi family member could be a budget smartphone having dual cameras as well as Face Unlock feature. For selfies and video calling, there is an 8MP camera on the front.
