The OnePlus 6 x Marvel Avengers Limited Edition will be launched today in India at an event in Mumbai. The device will go on sale starting May 22nd directly from the OnePlus online store in North America, India, and across Europe.

The phone will be available in Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Silk White colour options. So, how does the new OnePlus 6 compare to OnePlus 5T?

OnePlus 6, widely advertised with "the speed you need" tagline, comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage in the top-end model. This means that besides China, India is very likely one of the first few countries that will see distribution of the limited edition OnePlus 6.

OnePlus offers the smartphone in three variants based on RAM and storage. All variants will be available at launch. The Avengers edition will be launched on May 29. The OnePlus 6 also happens to be the first device from the company to boast of some form of water resistance. The resolution remains the same and OnePlus 6 has same Optic AMOLED display panel.

Further, Idea subscribers who purchase the OnePlus 6 will get cashback worth Rs. 2,000 and a dedicated device insurance. OnePlus 6 features a 6.3-inch display following the same trend of flagship smartphones of other companies which are bezel-less with an iPhone X-like notch in its 19:9 OLED display. The screen is topped with Gorilla Glass 5, which will protect the phone from scratches and other external damages. The 16MP camera also comes with optical image stabilization.

OnePlus 6 sports a dual camera setup at rear which includes 16-megapixels+20-megapixels sensors with dual LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, Portrait mode, HDR, and Pro mode. The front camera has a 16MP Sony IMX371 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and EIS, which takes care of your selfies as well as facial unlocking software. It can also record videos in super slow-motion with 1080p at 240fps and 720p at 480fps. Users will be able to shoot up to 60 seconds of Slow-mo video. The company continues to follow its philosophy of "Never Settle" with its aggressive pricing of $529, making it cheaper than most devices available with similar specifications. All OnePlus 6 customers will also get discounts up to Rs 500 on Amazon Kindle e-books. The alert slider is also in gold color, unlike the regular OnePlus 6 which has a black slider.
