The Ronald McDonald told KIMT News 3 over the last couple years, the house has had to turn away thousands of families because limited space.

Every year, McDonald's restaurants across the country celebrate McHappy Day, an annual day of community giving in support of Ronald McDonald Houses and other local children's charities.

May 2 marks the 25 year of McHappy Day.

Opened in Saskatoon in 1985, Saskatchewan's only Ronald McDonald House serves families from across the province due to its proximity to specialized services. He will also be doing the brain tumour walk in Victoria May 27, "so children don't have to go through what I did".
