Does a Game 6 Loss Mean LeBron Is Done in Cleveland?

LeBron James' energy level was the big talking point after the Cleveland Cavaliers fell on the road in Game 5 against the Boston Celtics, and fans and analysts are now wondering what James has left in the tank.

I can't wait to see LeBron James in another Game 7. with a chance to return to the NBA Finals for the eighth consecutive time in his career.

James has played more minutes and scored more points and had to do more than any other player on any team in these playoffs.

With the Cavs facing elimination on Friday night, LeBron James turned in a masterful 46-point, 11-rebound, 9-assist performance, while point guard George Hill added 20 points. 2007, the year he took a historically bad Cavaliers lineup to the NBA Finals.

The Cavaliers will play the victor of Monday's Game 7 of the West finals between Houston and Golden State.

Aron Baynes couldn't contribute to the scoreboard while Jayson Tatum only managed 15 points on 7-13 shooting from the floor.

"We have an opportunity to play for a championship", James said.

Game 7 is on. I mean, best player in the game.

James dropped 17 points and went 6-of-12 from the field in the first half, scoring almost half of Clevelands first half points.

"I haven't even really kind of processed it", James said.

The series is tied at 3-3 and Cleveland must win in Boston on Sunday to progress to the finals. ESPN is included in the Hulu Live TV package so you'll be able to quickly join in time to watch the Cavs Celtics Game 6 battle online. It was his seventh 40-point performance of the 2018 playoffs, tying Chicago Bulls great Michael Jordan (1989) for second-most 40-point games in a single post-season behind the eight of Jerry West in 1965. For the most part, I thought we were pretty good at that. But All-Star center and two-way linchpin Al Horford struggled mightily with the physicality of Cleveland's defense, mustering just six points on 2-for-8 shooting with nine rebounds and four assists, as the Cavs outscored Boston by 14 points in his 37 minutes of work.

Brown poured in 15 points as the Celtics took a 25-20 lead after the first period, which was just the start they were looking for after falling behind by 15 after one in Game 3 and by 16 in Game 4.

James' minute total has spiked to 40.6 per game in the playoffs, 4.1 more than the next closest remaining player (Terry Rozier).

"I tried to get him to bang his other knee so then we could have 24 (points after the injury)", Lue joked.

"Been fortunate enough to play some good basketball through my career", James said.

But the Cavs got scare in the fourth when James went down hard on a drive tangling with Nance and clutching his right leg in obvious pain.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have their backs against the wall in the Eastern Conference finals.
