The pop star shared a video on her Instagram stories of a package that included a olive branch - the literally sign of a peace offering - and a note.

Thankfully, the pair appear to have buried the hatchet just in time for Swift's Reputation world tour, which kicked off on Tuesday. Enclosed along with the note was an actual olive branch, officially ending the pop duo's long-simmering rift.

"Hey old friend, I have been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings between us". The words "deeply sorry" can also be made out.

Tay posted a short vid showing off a gift she just got from Perry, with the caption "Thank you Katy" and some heart emojis. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' ...

"Well, there's a situation [between me and Swift]", Perry said at the time. I really want to clear the air.

Katy opened up about the feud past year, speaking to The Thrive Global Podcast, saying she was "ready to let it go". "I'm ready to let it go".

They were then poached by Katy for her Prismatic trek and this is said to have irked Katy, sparking their alright feud. She added, "I think personally that women together, not divided.will heal the world".
