When Swift's "September" remake hit the internet, the Twitterverse was up in arms over it.
Another user joked: 'Do you rememba. when taylor swift wrote an open letter about how much she hated spotify and now she's releasing live covers of songs exclusively to their platform?' But now, she's delivering two exclusives to the streaming service.
Earth, Wind and Fire's "September" is a classic disco favourite, and now Taylor Swift has given her take on it. Instead of the opening line, "Do you remember the 21st night of September", Swift flipped the date, singing, "the 28th night of September". "It is about the balancing act of the rush and the fear and hoping it's really worth it to take that chance".
"Unaltered in the press release were Swift's comments about the other track: "'Delicate" is a song about the vulnerability that immediately surfaces in all of us the minute we meet someone we want to like us", it reads.
"Taylor Swift covering Earth Wind and Fire is the exact kind of evil the Devil tries to bring to pass on Friday the 13th".
She has also proven to be a fan of the Spotify Singles as two tracks on that playlist include other special sessions by other artists.
Judge opined that some songs shouldn't be remade, and "September" is one of them - especially by Swift.
