As we mentioned at the end of last week, the Moto G6 family must be days away from an unveiling.
Moto G6 - It has a 5.7-inch Full HD MaxVision display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
The Moto G6 Play is the lowest configuration phone in the Moto G6 series. The new G6 series phones will be affordable and will not burn a hole in the pocket. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octa-core chipset with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
It is packed with the same LED enabled 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup and 16-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash that are found on the Moto G6 phone. However, Motorola is yet to confirm on the launch date of the Moto G6 series. Both the front and rear cameras of the Moto G6 and G6 Play will include several additional features like - face filters, landmark recognition, object recognition, text scanning, and active photos which will work much like the live photos feature seen on iPhones. The Moto G6, much like the most of the new Motorola phones will run near stock Android out-of-the-box. There has been a slight improvement in the battery with a 3200 mAh non-removable, so make sure you buy a power bank.
An internal storage capacity of 64 GB and an external storage capacity of up to 256 GB (Remember this is a budget phone, don't expect higher storage capacities).
Moto G6 Play - It will come with a 5.7-inch MaxVision HD display with 720x1440 resolution.
In the third image, Moto G6 Plus is shown to have special camera feature that allows the user to change the background of the photo while keeping the subject in the same place. The setup is expected to be different from what we have seen so far from Moto devices. This contradicts with the previous reports suggesting that the Moto G6 and G6 Plus will have a front-facing fingerprint sensor while the G6 Play might have one at its rear.
The Z3 Play will come in two storage variants: 4GB of RAM with 32GB of storage, or 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. Its 32 GB and 64 GB storage models are respectively packed with 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. As for the availability details, Moto G6 is expected to ship starting May 17, which hints at April launch of the phone.
