"My last outing was against Du Quoin last Saturday and I was throwing ok (three hits), but I knew I could do better, so I worked out yesterday on my speed and I think it helped a lot", Kranawetter said.

Amundson was happy with the way her team performed coming off the eight-game losing streak.
After seeing everything go right for the girls on the field, Wright revealed a little extra motivation that was fueling the girls off the field heading into their matchup.
