Winter Storm Watch Begins Late Wednesday Night

Streets and sidewalks were slick late Monday afternoon in Center City as the precipitation moved in from west to east.

A few lingering snow showers will be possible this weekend with otherwise partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 20s to low 30s. Light and variable wind becoming south around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon. Clouds will enter the picture Tuesday night, which is expected to have a low temperature of around 27 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Cloudy, with a high near 51.

"We are thinking there will be at least minor flooding of urban and poor drainage areas Friday into Saturday", the service said. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Cloudy, with a low around 36.
