REVEALED: The Winning €39m Euromillions Ticket Was Sold In DUBLIN

The holder of the winning ticket of last Friday's €39 million Euromillions jackpot made contact with the National Lottery on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery confirmed the victor, who purchased the ticket on the day of the draw, has come forward.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on Friday, December 29.

A LUCKY EuroMillions victor has scooped a huge £34 million jackpot.

It is the third EuroMillions jackpot won in Ireland in the past year, the most ever in the history of the Lotto.

However, the hunt is still on for the lucky victor - or winners.

The National Lottery revealed the details as it emerged that the victor has not yet come forward to collect the prize.

She added: "We also advise the victor or winners to get good independent legal and financial advice as this is an incredible amount of money".

Spokesperson Miriam Donohoe says even if the victor comes forward today - they will have a little wait for the cash.

In case you're wondering whether your next purchase might be a diamond-encrusted superyacht, the winning numbers were: 04, 08, 22, 23, 48 and Lucky Stars: 01, 12.

"Even if the victor turns up this morning, we will have politely ask them to come back later in the week to collect the cheque".
