Terrorists storm CRPF camp in J&K's Pulwama jawan killed

Two pakistani terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Muhammad outfit stormed in to a CRPF camp of 185th battalion at Lethpora in Awantipora of Pulwama district last night, killing four jawans. He said that till now three terrorists have been killed, although some terrorists are still hidden.

Heavily-armed militants stealthily entered the camp in Lathpora area about two hours after midnight, hurling grenades and resorting to indiscriminate gunfire. "Four CRPF jawans have been martyred and three others are injured". Three terrorsits had stormed a CRPF training camp to stage a fidayeen attack at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. And all the injured were evacuated to Army's 92 base hospital in Badamibagh, Srinagar for treatment.

Meanwhile, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the fidayeen attack. The bodies of two terrorists have also been recovered.

Senior security forces and police officers had already reached the spot to supervise the operation, they said.

He warned more such attack on security force installations and camps in the state. Similarly, trains also continued to chug in the valley, including from Srinagar to Banihal in Jammu region via south Kashmir.
