Marvel's 'Runaways' Officially Renewed for Season 2 on Hulu

New episodes of the show have been released once per week on Tuesdays and its season finale streams on January 9th. The series stars Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder, Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru, Virginia Gardner as Karolina Dean, Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes, Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein and Allegra Acosta as Molly Hernandez.

Good news, Marvel's Runaways fans!

Marvel's "Runaways" will return for a second season on Hulu....

"Every teenager thinks their parents are evil", Hulu says in today's announcement. "Debuting on November 21, 2017, "Marvel's Runaways"," based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe - their parents. Once the kids find out about their parents, they begin searching for answers to prove them guilty while teaming up together to stop them. "Our partnership with Josh [Schwartz] and Stephanie [Savage] and Hulu has been as exciting as the reaction to the show from our fans - both new and old!" said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Head of Marvel TV. The sci-fi series was created by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir (Sausage Party), with Hunter, Shaffier, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Matt Tolmach, James Weaver, and Ben Karlin executive producing.

Future Man, meanwhile, stars The Hunger Games alum Josh Hutcherson as a janitor by day/gamer by night who is recruited to travel through time in order to prevent the extinction of humanity.

In addition to Runaways, Hulu also renewed another freshmen series Future Man. It is Marvel's first Hulu TV show and it's success could potentially mean more collaborations between Marvel and Hulu.
