It is possible, if not likely, that the three-judge panel in NY will rule as early as Thursday, after oral arguments, on whether Elliott can play Sunday at Atlanta.
In a meaningless game played in freezing temperatures, the Eagles' inactives list was littered with precautionary deactivations. Brandon Graham has already been ruled out with an ankle injury, but should be fine in two weeks.
Hopefully, by the second half, all of the starters should be pulled from the game and Sudfeld can get playing time.
Defensively, I don't believe that Doug Pederson should play his starters at all on Sunday. So, I think that answers your question. After a strong performance against the New York Giants in his first start of the season, Nick Foles looked terrible against the Oakland Raiders.
The special teams were even better, at least what we saw of them. Sudfeld completed 19-for-23 for 136 yards. "It's obviously a big day for him".
The last time Beasley caught a touchdown pass was during a win over the Kansas City Chiefs back on November 5, when he snared two balls in the end zone. After hopefully a few good drives, Foles and the Eagles first-team offense will take a back seat and the backups will get reps so they will be good to go if called upon in the postseason.

Should the Eagles consider starting Nate Sudfeld instead of Nick Foles in the playoffs?
What the Eagles will really miss about not having Carson Wentz during this playoff season is his ability to make plays with his legs in both the passing and running game, especially on third down.
Frankly, it's pretty remarkable that the Eagles played in one of the worst recent football games I can remember against Oakland, and then outdid themselves less than a week later.
In spite of Foles's very lackluster performance, Pederson was impressed with his quarterback's resilience at overcoming his mistakes and finally putting his team in position to win late in the ball game. He needs to regain some experience and build chemistry with his receivers, but at the same time you don't want Foles or any of the receivers missing the playoffs with an avoidable injury.
While there is something to be said for the bye teams losing momentum and rhythm with the week off between the final regular season game and the first playoff game, the Eagles aren't quite in that boat.
The exception though this year is that we may see the Eagles starters play a bit more than we saw the Cowboys starters play in last year's Week 17 matchup.
