Finally, Capcom today confirmed that there are plans for post-launch support of Monster Hunter: World with regular content updates, as well as major title updates for free.

Anyone who pre-orders the game will get a download code for the Origin Armor set and a Fair Wind Charm. Our hands-off live demo at E3 previous year when the game was announced piqued our interest, and everything we have subsequently learned has kept it as one of our most anticipated upcoming games of 2018. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available. The experience mirrors that of the game, where players hunt giant and ferocious creatures before carving them up to create their armour gear or cook their findings on a BBQ to restore their health. They include Teostra and Kushala Daora. There's a press/media preview night as well, though it's proving unsurprisingly popular already!

In other Monster Hunter World news, the publisher of gaming magazine Famitsu predicts that the game has the potential to sell 10 million copies worldwide, mainly due to its popularity in Japan.

A third Monster Hunter World beta was confirmed during Capcom's Winter Live Stream this week.

For more details head to Eventbrite. A PC version is also under development and will be released later in Fall 2018.

Monster Hunter: Worldlaunches on January 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a PC release coming later in Autumn 2018.
