Crimson Tide's Ridley declares for NFL Draft

Alabama Running Back Bo Scarbrough, who just finished his junior season with the Crimson Tide, has signed with a sports marketing company and is headed to the National Football League, according to a source.

The expectation here is that Ridley and SMU's Courtland Sutton will vie to be the first receiver off the board when the 2018 NFL Draft comes calling in April.

"Having been thoroughly prepared for that next step", he wrote, "I am truly ready". He also thanked Alabama head coach Nick Saban for "turning good players into great ones". The Under Armour All-America Game participant had 41 catches, 1,131 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior for the Knights.

Harris ran for 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns this year as the lead rusher for the Crimson Tide.

Scarbrough, a former top prospect, will join them in the draft, according to a report by AL.com, which first reported news on Harris and Payne.

Alabama won its second national championship in three years Monday with a 26-23 overtime victory over Georgia. Yes, Alabama's cupboard is stacked full of talent at the receiver position, and with the emergence of freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa, the ball will likely be spread out more in the passing game, assuming he's the guy moving forward at the position.
