Taylor played through the injury until he was carted to the locker room while the Patriots offense was on the field in the fourth quarter.
Taylor would eventually come into the game in the second half in relief of Peterman, who put up an all-time bad performance in his first National Football League start. Oddly enough, he led the team down to the goal line, but was eventually intercepted.
However, late in the game, with the Bills down big, the gunslinger appeared in obvious pain.
If he can't play, rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman will make his second career start - just weeks removed from his five-interception debacle in Los Angeles in mid-November.
At the time of this writing, there is no update about the severity of the injury. He was ineffective prior to the early exit, completing only nine of 18 passes for 65 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception.
