Just a day after the launch of Xiaomi's "Desh Ka Smartphone", Redmi 5A, domestic brand Micromax introduced the Bharat 5. It is keen on taking back its offline budget segment and it is evident from its Bharat range of smartphones.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution.
The Redmi 5A again looks to be the victor here as it comes sporting a 13-megapixel camera on the backwith f/2.2 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus and LED flash. The phone is available in only one variant of 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The battery of the phone is 5000mAh and that is why the tagline of the Micromax Bharat 5 smartphone is "The Power of 5".
Micromax's Bharat 5 Stands No Chance Against The Redmi 5A
Priced at Rs 5,555, the handset will be available at retail stores from next week. Compared to its competition - Nokia 2 and Bharat 5 which come with 1GB RAM paired with Snapdragon 212 or a 1.3GHz quad-core processor - the Redmi 5A comes with the highly efficient 425 SoC paired with 2/3GB of RAM. Bharat 5 sports a 5.2-inch HD IPS display, surrounded by usual bezels to accommodate capacitive navigation buttons below and front camera, proximity sensor and earpiece above. Internal storage of the phone is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Battery & Other Features of Micromax Bharat 5 Smartphone - The battery of Bharat 5 smartphone comes with a 5000mAh battery. The phone packs similar specs like the Bharat 4, except it's bigger battery. The company claims that the Xiaomi Redmi 5A can last up to 8 days on standby and up to 7 hours of video playback.
The handset features the usual connectivity options including support for 4G bands, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and rest.
