Glassdoor reveals rankings for best places to work in 2018

These are the 10 best tech companies to work for in the US, according to Glassdoor

The Best Places To Work In 2018

Jobsite portal Glassdoor's 50 UK Best Places to Work in 2018 list features employers across diverse industries spanning technology, retail, investment banking, insurance, consumer goods, telecommunications and more.

Gallo is the largest family-owned winery in the world, according to the company, and produces brands such as Barefoot Cellars, Dark Horse, Apothic, Carnivor MacMurray Estate Vineyards and many more. Only two of those - Google and Bain - have been in the top 25 each year, with Bain among the top five every year Glassdoor has done the list.

Workers looking to make a job change in the year ahead would do well to consider a gig with one of these companies. The Menlo-Park based company previously achieved No. 1 status back in 2013 and 2011 and finished No. 2 in last year's rankings.

Meanwhile, companies are commonly added or fall off the list.

Winners, Glassdoor says, are decided using a proprietary algorithm based on anonymous employee reviews that are provided voluntarily through Glassdoor's site. One employee described Royal London as a company with a "clear and admirable ethos", which provided a good work-life balance to its workers. "Employers where employees love to work continue to prove that they have a recruiting and business performance advantage".
