To further that vision, HP's Kevin Frost took the stage to introduce the company's upcoming Snapdragon 835-powered Envy x2 convertible. The device comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 S. "ASUS NovaGo reinvents the concept of laptop connectivity and productivity - it's the world's first announced laptop that is connected virtually anywhere, at any time, with the new Gigabit LTE network*; and lasts up to 22 hours on a single charge for "all-day" battery life". Both models will launch with Windows 10 S, but can be upgraded to the full Windows 10 experience. Frost didn't mention a stylus, but the machine was pictured with such a pen attached to its case, so it probably supports Windows Ink.
The chip will likely be found in other, non-Android devices as well, including Windows 10 PCs, among others. ENVY x2 is incredibly thin, light, durable and of course always connected, the HP ENVY x2 offers lightning-fast 4G LTE2 and Wi-Fi. The model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage runs to $799. Qualcomm boasts battery life of up to 25 hours, plus instant power on and performance that is on par with an Intel computer. The Envy X2 is very similar to numerous Surface Pro types of computers that already exist, while the NovaGo feels just like any other budget to midrange laptop. The Snapdragon 835 SoC is complemented by up to 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 2.0 storage. To see how all of that works, we'll have to spend more time with these machines.
