Rose McGowan was arrested after turning herself in to police on Tuesday, November 14, for felony possession of a controlled substance. According to a spokesperson from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office in Virginia, the actress had her mug shot taken and was released on a $5,000 bond.

That's where officials said they found traces of narcotics on some personal belongings left behind on a flight.

McGowan last month said Twitter suspended her account after she accused Ben Affleck of lying over his prior knowledge of Weinstein's predatory sexual behaviour. Her attorney now suggests the drugs may have been planted. And on February 1, a felony arrest warrant was issued.

The on-screen character revealed to The New Yorker she didn't react to the warrant for a considerable length of time out of dread that she was being trailed by private examiners employed by Harvey Weinstein. On Tuesday, she seemingly posted again about the charges, writing, "Well today was fun". Over & over I said it. She said she filed a lost-luggage claim with the airport and hours later was contacted by a detective who asked her to come get it.

McGowan is one of a few ladies guaranteeing that she was sexually attacked by the previous media head honcho and has since turned out to be one of the main voices against inappropriate behavior in Hollywood. After disembarking, she was standing at baggage claim and made a decision to call a auto using the service Lyft, she said, when she noticed that her wallet was gone.

She spoke publicly about the incident at the Women's Convention in Detroit in October and addressed the culture of sexual abuse. "Imagining I'm going into sisterly solidarity, I can think of nothing more opposed to that, energetically, that I would want in my body at that moment". "What a load of HORSES-**T". The courts have scheduled McGowan to be arraigned on Thursday and will receive an upcoming date in front of a jury. "I beat him to it", she told Farrow.
