More sunshine moves in this week with afternoon temperatures mainly in the 50s aside from Thursday when we could reach 60°. This will nudge the humidity levels back down a bit through the day and evening and allow temperatures tonight to fall back down into the lower to middle 50s by early Tuesday morning. Light to moderate showers developed ahead of it, and they're slowing creeping southeast right along I -20 now, but we do expect them to weaken more as they continue moving southward. Showers and thunderstorms will be likely as a cold front pushes in from the northwest Friday night into Saturday.
As of Sunday night, the rain and snow looks to be on the light side. A slight warming trend through the next few days with a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures will be near 70 degrees.
SUNDAY: Sunny and much cooler.
Monday evening will be just about flawless for the Panthers tailgate time, clear and dry with temperatures falling from the mild 60s to the cool 40s during game. High pressure will spread in and bring us dry weather throughout the rest of the workweek.
