AMBER Alert issued for missing 3-year-old girl

She is white, about 2 feet, 9 inches tall and 30 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He told the news station that he was given legal custody of Mariah and her two brothers previous year while child protection services investigated an incident involving their mother.

Alex Woods, Mariah's father, hasn't seen her since previous year, according to WCTI in North Carolina. When Mariah's grandmother went to wake her up at 6:45 a.m., she was not in her bedroom, nor was she anywhere in the house. Goes by Mariah. Mariah has an orthopedic leg problem, causing her left leg to wobble when she walks. "She is sweet cherishing young lady". The girl's mother, Kristy Woods told police that she last saw her toddler daughter at 11 p.m. the night before when she tucked her into bed. He said he has not seen them since.

"Our focus right now is to find her, to bring her back and then to find out what happened", Onslow County Sheriff Hans Miller said. The local sheriff's office believes Mariah was abducted.

"'I'll do anything that I can, whatever you want", said Woods.

Mariah's two older brothers were at home at the time of her disappearance, according to friends. She is 3 years old.

The FBI has deployed special agents to aid in the search, a spokesperson for the FBI's Charlotte office told CBS News. Woods said, according to WCTI.
