This is the new Infiniti QX50, a mid-size SUV from the luxury brand of Nissan.
More details of the new medium-sized SUV have been released as the vehicle gets its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The 2019 Infiniti QX50 follows each and everything that the brand stands for including design, advanced technologies and top of the line performance.
Making its debut at the LA Motor Show, the most intriguing thing about the QX50 is its revolutionary new petrol engine.
The launch of the QX50 next summer will give Infiniti a new entry in another popular segment and the new SUV could easily account for a significant portion of Infiniti's sales in the future, according to Randy Parker, vice president of Infiniti Americas.
The all-new platform has a front-engine/front-wheel-drive configuration with an all-wheel drive option.

In terms of design, the QX50's SUV aerodynamic exterior reinterprets Infiniti's distinctive design language of Powerful Elegance whilst continuing with its now familiar signature design cues. It combines a confident stance with deep character lines.
The unrivaled interior space, artistic application of high quality materials, and advanced craftsmanship make the cabin as welcoming and comfortable as it is flexible. Its asymmetric layout and calm, connected ambience is created to meet different needs of the driver and passengers.
Infiniti calls the 2.0-liter four-cylinder the VC-Turbo, with the "VC" standing for variable compression.
The QX50 will also come with the Infiniti ProPILOT semi-autonomous driving technology which enables the vehicle to control itself in traffic and while motorway cruising.
THe QX50 will sport a 2.0-liter inline-4 VC-Turbo engine that generates 268 HP and 280 pound-feet of torque yet will still provide an estimated 27 miles to the gallon (26 MPG if you turn on the AWD). As a compelling alternative to diesel, it also challenges the notion that only hybrid and diesel powertrains can deliver both high torque and efficiency.
