Remember the first time you ever saw "The Lion King"?

In case you stayed off the internet last night you might have missed that the cast for the new Lion King remake was announced, and holy shit, the casting is truly wonderful.

James Earl Jones has already been officially announced as Simba's wise and loving father, Mufasa, reprising his iconic performance from Disney's 1994 animated classic.

The Lion King will air in the summer of 2019.

On Wednesday, the Lemonade singer not only confirmed her own casting, she dropped the entire cast announcement on her Facebook page!

The superstar will play lioness Nala alongside Donald Glover who will voice the lead character Simba.

Beyoncé, who was previously reported to be eyed for the film, has been confirmed as Nala, Simba's (Donald Glover) childhood friend and later love interest.

Disney is rebooting the beloved animated movie with Jungle Book filmmaker Jon Favreau helming the project.

While Bey's got the flawless hair and (Sasha) Fierce attitude to play a lioness, she'll just be lending her famous voice to the live-action remake of the 1994 classic.

Other standouts in the ensemble include Chiwetel Ejiofor (Scar), Alfre Woodard (Sarabi), John Oliver (Zazu), Seth Rogen (Pumbaa) and Keegan-Michael Key (Kamari).
