Florida detectives are searching for a 17-year-old girl who has been missing since Sunday.
District officials are operating under the assumption that Rodriguez and Caitlyn are romantically involved, Carswell said.
The girls and boys soccer teams play their next games against Lafayette High School tonight.
Officer Murray Smith said, "It's sort of like a needle in a haystack". Deputies also say she withdrew about $200 from an ATM in St. Mary's, Georgia on November 26.
There have been other possible sightings of the two in North Georgia and SC, but authorities said there is no video from those. The investigation has revealed that Rodriguez has relatives in Canada, and that Frisina has family in NY. No criminal charges have been filed at this time. But Smith added: "For her to be on the road with this gentleman, I consider that to be a unsafe situation". We just can't imagine what in the world is going on'. They've made some poor decisions but who hasn't?
Frisina's mother, Scarlet Frisina, told News4Jax Rodriguez had been her daughter's coach in the past and referred to him as a family friend. Her parents reported her missing on Sunday morning when they realized she was gone. You are my only concern.
Police believe she is in the company of Rian Rodriguez, 27, a soccer coach at Fort White High School in Lake City, Fla. where Frisina was a student. We just want to know that she's safe.
'We can work out any issues. We're here with open arms praying for your safety!
She wrote: "Caitlyn Morgan, Punkin, Daddy and I want you to know how very much we love you and miss you!" Caitlyn Frisina is described as having brown hair and brown eyes.
