Bungie has announced it will livestream Destiny 2 - Expansion I: Curse of Osiris on November 15th. You can enter the Infinite Forest when you explore the planet, and it contains multiple "trees" or towers.
In terms of the core story, we got a look at a new cinematic from Curse of Osiris (above). Brother Vance watched over the Trials of Osiris, trying to find the strongest guardians, but now he will play the same role as Asher, Failsafe, and Devrim do in their respective worlds.
Step through a huge portal on the surface of Mercury and you'll materialize miles away in the Infinite Forest of the Vex.
Eater of Worlds is created to be shorter but more hard than Leviathan, and Bungie is calling this a Raid Lair as opposed to a straight Raid. In an attempt to end the scourge of the Vex threat, he'll attempt to use their technology against them.
Bungie Details Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris's 'Infinite Forest' And 'Raid Lair'
The DLC will see the return of the Heroic Strike playlist, and the introduction of the Raid Lair.
Players will be able to see these different parts of the timeline, which include a lush Mercury of the past (?) and what Bungie is calling its "dark future", when the sun has burned itself out and there's nothing left but a sea of Vex robots.
The expansion, Curse of Osiris, is just around the corner and what is better than getting some fresh AND live content. Bungie also plans to bump up the Power Level requirements and rewards for the vanilla Leviathan raid, so players will still have reason to play it as well.
The first of three Destiny 2 - Expansion I: Curse of Osiris livestreams begins at 11 a.m.
The live-stream, which has been archived above, shows off the first steps you take within this patrol area, looking pretty fantastic thus far. Future streams about Curse of Osiris will unravel more information. However, the developers did mention that the Raid Lair is challenging, and a Prestige mode will be added on eventually.
