Blizzcon is in full swing, and Overwatch fans are getting both a new map and hero to play around with.

"Moira" is the new support healer on her way to Overwatch, offering a mix of damage-dealing and healing abilities. Her right hand fires a long-range beam weapon that saps enemies' health, healing Moira and replenishing her biotic energy. Her main ability, biotic grasp, will allow her to use a small beam-like ability to heal a single target, or she can use her secondary ability, biotic orb, to heal in an AoE.

Creative director Jeff Kaplan described the character something of a hybrid character, which is something a bit unusual for Overwatch, but was looking forward to seeing the character in the hands of players-even jokingly describing the characters as "OP AF".

Overwatch Moira trailer - How does she look? One of the first things that the company chose to unveil was not only a new Overwatch map and animated short, but they showed off a new hero as well.

The newest short film shows a younger, softer side of Reinhardt, the old German tank. She is also able to teleport which will supposedly make her one of the most mobile support heroes yet. Continuing to expand on the game's multiplayer content, a new playable character and multiplayer map have been showcased. Overwatch, StarCraft 2, World of WarCraft, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm all received updates big and small, and true to form, Blizzard accompany each big announcement with flashy videos.

Blizzard World will be part assault and part payload and released early next year.
