They say the shooting happened inside an American Eagle.

A busy mall in the New York State was evacuated Sunday after two people suffered minor injuries when a gun was sacked at the floor, police said.

Police are continuing to search for a man who fired a gun at the Galleria at Crystal Run on a busy holiday shopping weekend.

The two victims suffered "minor wounds" to their lower extremities, Hertman said, but did not disclose whether those victims suffered gunshot wounds.

According to police, it's unclear at this time if the gun was intentionally fired.

Police say they are still searching for the suspect.

"That is yet to be determined, the intent of letting the round go", said Chief Robert Hertman of the Town of Wallkill Police Department.

People on scene tweeted the Galleria Mall has been evacuated.
