"I don't want no distractions for Melo". I'm not letting them mess with his head anymore.

Will he then get housed when he plays real games?

LaVar went on to claim that through his coaching and training, LaMelo will become "the best basketball player ever".

LaMelo is leaving Chino Hills after the school's basketball program brought in a new coach that family patriarch LaVar had some disagreements with.

Chino Hills' former Coach Steve Baik helped the school to its 35-0 record on a previous season before leaving for Fairfax. "It seems like anybody who's training over here, that coach don't want him in the team". A prospect only needs to be 19 years old and one year removed from the graduation date of his high school class. Regardless of whether LaMelo successfully completes his high school graduation requirement, he'll only need to wait one year before entering his name into the 2020 NBA Draft. He has a vision for how his sons will blossom into National Basketball Association prospects and he's unafraid to go to war if the slightest detail isn't to his liking.

It's a big hit to the high school basketball scene in Southern California, with LaMelo a star alongside his brother in recent seasons, including a 92-point outburst in a game a season ago.

"The coach made a comment the other day", Ball told Shelburne. There is no rhyme or reason to what LaVar will do with his sons, and at this point, doubt is growing that the youngest Ball will ever play for UCLA. "(LaMelo)'s on track for UCLA, but he doesn't have to be dealing with those knuckleheads. "But you know he's got his own shoe, you know the NCAA don't like that, so they might be like, 'Hey, back up.'" I ain't got no problem backing up because we're still going to get to here, he's on deck, coming to the Lakers".
