Panthers LB Luke Kuechly ruled out vs. Eagles, in concussion protocol

Panthers' Luke Kuechly in concussion protocol for third time in three years

How many concussions has Luke Kuechly suffered in his career?

A disturbing video posted on social media shows a Carolina Panthers fan sucker-punching another fan during Thursday night's game at Bank of America Stadium.

The attacker then forces his female friend to give up her quarrel as the two make their way toward the exit, leaving the man as blood drips down his face and stains his white T-shirt. The Panthers linebacker missed the final six games of the 2016 season after suffering a concussion in Week 10 past year. And Kuechly is no stranger to dealing with injuries, more specifically concussions.

NBC Charlotte has identified the Panthers fan in the video and we have attempted to contact him for comment.

"We have reviewed video tape of the incident and have identified the perpetrator", the Panthers aid in a statement.

According to police the victim was a 62-year-old man. The victim was treated for his injuries.

Carrigan says the victim was upset about the fan in the jersey standing up throughout the game and obstructing his view. No arrests have been made at this time.

The video was originally uploaded to Instagram, which you can view HERE - but due to graphic language I can only quote so much.

Emory says the Panthers "are committed to a fan-friendly and family-friendly stadium experience" and said the behavior is "unacceptable and will not be condoned".

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
