"Dragon Ball FighterZ" Brings the Fight to the West on January 26

Dragon Ball FighterZ launches early next year in North America and Europe on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

For those that may not know, Dragon Ball FighterZ is a fighter game like Street Fighter with favourite characters from the show, like Captain Ginyu and Nappa.

More information has also been released about the game's story mode, which will feature the Super Warriors Arc, the Super Villain Arc and the Android Arc. These strategical choices will have an overall impact over the fighting abilities for future fights, so choose wisely. If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition for PS4 or Xbox One, you can access to the open beta that will be available soon (no exact date). Lastly, there is a digital Dragon Ball FighterZ Ultimate Edition digital offer which will include the game, the FighterZ Pass, an anime music pack containing 11 songs from the DRAGON BALL anime, and a commentator voice pack. The World Match mode will allow players to choose between casual and ranked matches.

Dragon Ball FighterZ, first unveiled in June at E3, features a flashy 2D art style that captures the look and feel of the long-running anime. Dubbed the FighterZ Pass, it will cost $34.99, and each fighter will come with their "respective stamp, set of alternative colors and even Lobby Avatars". Bandai Namco states that there is a story mode along side the online mode.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 2.5D fighting game developed by Arc System Works, creator of the Guilty Gear fighting game series. Players will be able to pick up the game on January 26th, 2018.
