Charlie Heaton 'Stranger Things' Star Busted with Coke Denied Entry to US

Law enforcement officials later confirmed to the publication that Heaton had admitted the consumption of drugs to them, but he was not arrested.

Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton has landed himself in some hot water. Drug sniffing dogs had apparently reacted to Heaton's belongings, which led to the search and subsequent trouble.

Here's something a little odd - Charlie Heaton got kicked out of the USA because he was allegedly caught with cocaine at the airport.

Heaton was noticeably absent on Thursday night as his costars Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, Natalia Dyer, Caleb McLaughlin and Dacre Montgomery posed for pictures and celebrated the Netflix release.

Jaime Ruiz, branch chief of strategic media engagement for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, had this to say about the incident.

People reached out to Heaton's rep for a comment, but there wasn't a response at the time of reporting.

A source told The Sun that the actor wasn't arrested or charged because he was caught with a "very small amount", which bears the effect that "you will not be allowed into the country".

The second season of Stranger Things premiered on Netflix on Friday. It's unclear at this time how much cocaine Heaton allegedly had on his person and it's also unclear for how long Heaton will be unable to re-enter the country.
