Animal Crossing Mobile To Be Announced This Week

Still, it's chose to take some time out of that busy schedule to talk about something we haven't heard from in quite some time: Animal Crossing's incoming mobile game.

Animal Crossing was first announced for mobile alongside several other Nintendo franchises past year.

Nintendo announced the Animal Crossing Mobile Direct earlier today, with the presentation set to stream on October 24th at 11pm EST, or 12pm Japan time on October 25th.

But what is Nintendo going to tell us?

It's no surprise that they made sure to mention that no new Animal Crossing content on 3DS or Switch will be talked about.

While the finer details of what'll be revealed during the Nintendo Direct have yet to be confirmed, the best announcement that many Animal Crossing fans could hope for would be the confirmation of a release date.

Nintendo first announced a plan to bring a mobile version of Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem early past year.

We all know that free Android games aren't always free these days, but many of them are very close if you have a little patience. This delay was partially attributed to the development of Fire Emblem Heroes and Super Mario Run, two other mobile games from Nintendo that should hopefully help pave the way for the release of Animal Crossing.
