Woman who stormed stage during 'Julius Caesar' is arrested

Report Protester interrupts performance of 'Julius Caesar' that references Donald Trump

The controversial production of 'Julius Caesar' gets shut

NY — A New York production of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" with a Trump-like character who is assassinated had a boisterous new scene this weekend: A 24-year-old activist stormed the stage, yelling, "Do you want Trump to be assassinated?"

Loomer was reportedly charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct. Laura Loomer now works for an alt-right website and was rushing the stage following the reports of the use of Trump as the Caeser character.

Loomer has been released after her arrest.

Popular Video This young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. "This is unacceptable. this is violent!" She also compared the production to ISIS.

In New York, a video of the Shakespeare play incident was released nearly immediately after Friday's disruption, apparently by the protesters who posted it online for all to see. You don't "take back" theater overnight, and you certainly don't do it by rudely interrupting a performance then calling the audience murderers and Nazis. You are all inciting terrorists! Posobiec also yelled that the blood of shot Republican Congressman Steve Scalise is on the hands of those in attendance.

The protester identified as Laura Loomer, interrupted the Shakespeare in the Park production on Friday night and shouted "this is political violence against the right" while audience members booed and told her to get off the stage. After the Friday night disruption, Eustis issued a statement, "Two protesters disrupted our show tonight; we stopped the show for less than a minute and our stage manager handled it beautifully". The staff removed the protestors peacefully, and the show resumed with the line 'Liberty! "Freedom!" The audience rose to their feet to thank the actors, and we joyfully continued.

While the show went on, that didn't stop Posobiec, best known for peddling the Seth Rich and Pizzagate conspiracies and creating the "Rape Melania" sign, from tweeting the video with the caption, "BREAKING: Julius Ceasar Gets SHUTDOWN".

New York Daily News reports that the play portrayed a "Trump-like" Julius Caesar character.

He stood up as Loomer was escorted off stage by security guards and yelled at the crowd: "You are all Goebbels". The Theater's interpretation of the Shakespeare classic-which features a blonde-haired, cellphone-addicted Caesar with intentional similarities to Donald Trump-has whipped up a healthy head of controversy in recent weeks, with Delta Airlines and Bank Of America pulling funding for the show, and desperate finger-pointers jabbing at it as an "inspiration" for the shootings in Alexandria this week.
