Georgia State Patrol Col. Mark McDonough said a ranger with the Department of Natural Resources, which shares the radio channel with GSP, heard the transmissions about the shooting and the carjacking victim and tied the two together.

JCSO has suspended the search.

Jasper County, S.C. - The escaped inmates from Putnam County, Georgia have reportedly been spotted in Jasper County.

The two felons, Donnie Rowe, 43, and Ricky Dubose, 24, brutally executed two guards during their escape in the early hours of Tuesday, as they were being tranported between two penal facilities. Authorities in Georgia have released another photo of Dubose, showing prominent tattoos.

Georgia sheriff says the reward for escaped inmates who killed two prison guards during a bus transport is now up to $130,000 and the Federal Bureau of Investigation says they are expanding their search as it stretches into a third day.

"First of all they need to be caught, second of all there's a 90 thousand dollar reward", said Emily James who spent Wednesday driving around the Madison County area searching for Dubose and Rowe. They are armed with 9 mm pistols that were taken from these correctional officers.

The FBI said these men are armed and risky and if you think you see them, call 911 immediately.

Sills says they took some food and likely some clothes and left their prison uniforms behind. "They're not concerned with anything regarding human life".

The two convicts were reported to have carjacked a driver and fled in his green Honda Civic to Madison, about 25 miles to the north, where they burglarized a house and stole a white Ford pickup truck. Morgan County deputies searching her house to ensure there was no one there found a wet pair of prison trousers, the blue stripe ripped off, crumpled on a closet floor.

Sills also said that authorities have discovered video of two men who might be Dobose and Rowe from a camera near where the Ford truck was stolen, but the footage was captured at night and didn't shed much light on the case. Officials say the Honda was found hidden in a wooded area Wednesday afternoon. Sills said Dubose also has "ghost" tattooed on his right forefinger and "face" on his right pinky finger - signs of membership in the Ghost Face Gangsters.

Both Rowe, 43, and Dubose were convicted of armed robbery and other violent crimes, and have been cellmates a couple of times in Georgia's prisons. He was serving a 20-year sentence for armed robbery and assault. And added that he feels the level of importance is due to the fact that "the public is in grave danger".

The inmates were last held at Baldwin State Prison in Georgia.

Corrections officials have not said how the pair managed to get through the normally locked door of the inmate compartment.

Police have linked it to the escaped inmates accused of killing two correctional officers. The last thing police know is that the pair stole a vehicle in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Monica and Billue were officers at the Baldwin State Prison.
