Actor Miles Teller arrested in Pacific Beach for drunk and disorderly behavior

Miles Teller arrested for public drunkenness after refusing to cooperate at detox center

Miles Teller - the fingers-bloodying student drummer in "Whiplash" - was free Monday after being arrested early Sunday on suspicion of being drunk in public.

The 30-year-old was out on the town with a group of guys when an officer noticed the actor was having trouble standing on the sidewalk.

"Upon arrival at the detox center, Teller was uncooperative with staff and police took him to the jail and arrested him", the San Diego Police Department tells Us.

The officer approached the actor, who cops say appeared to have bloodshot eyes, was swaying side to side and was slurring his words.

Miles Teller may have found himself on the wrong side of the law.

Subsequently, Teller was arrested for being drunk in public and was released without bail.

Six months ago, Teller was involved in a scary auto crash in Los Angeles.

"I and @keleighperry are ok". "This woman's irrational and ignorant decision put our lives and her passengers in very real danger".

Teller has not commented on the arrest reports, but the news comes six months after he was involved in a scary auto crash while driving in the San Fernando Valley, near Los Angeles in December (16) with his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry. He was able to walk away from the crash without injury.
