The Chained To The Rhythm hitmaker has reached the milestone amount of fans on the social media site, followed by Justin Bieber, who has 96.7 million followers whilst Barack Obama (90.8 million), Taylor Swift (85.1 million) and Rihanna (74.1 million) placed third, fourth and fifth respectively. "Twitter has verified that Katy does indeed have 100 million followers".

Katy Perry's new album Witness has been released recently and to promote it, she has been live streaming herself on Youtube at meetings and yoga classes.

Katy went on to say that she respects her "old self" and doesn't hate the old "Katy Perry", but rather her new progression is the necessary step in her character development and her career. Celebrity highlights included a yoga session with Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and a live streamed dinner party featuring Katy, Sia, Anna Kendrick, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, and burlesque star Dita Von Teese.
