Sunday Night.Mostly cloudy. Small rain chance. Temperatures may fall into the upper 50s prior to sunrise Thursday. During the mid and late afternoon hours, showers and thunderstorms will begin moving to the area in a similar fashion. There are still some differences and some uncertainty in the models, but if this does occur, the chance for rain will continue into Tuesday.
Monday.Cloudy with scattered showers and storms likely. Muggy and mild in the mornings with isolated showers and storms in the late afternoons/early evenings.
Flooding will be the main threat today, though some storms will be capable of producing gusty winds. These storms will need to be watched through the day. Some may be strong. More storms will fire tomorrow morning, especially in south Alabama. Rain chances and amounts will increase for Sunday and Monday as temps decrease a bit into the mid 80s. There is the slight chance for a shower, but most places will be dry.

Thunderstorms could develop Saturday as a weak cold front moves into the Council Bluffs-Omaha area, with conditions remaining quite warm and a bit humid through the weekend, forecasters said.
