Apple Updates iOS With 'Do Not Disturb While Driving' Mode

The company announced its latest iOS 11 operating system in its World Wide Developer Conference in San Jose, which will only operate on 64-bit devices, making the iPhone 5 and 5C, some apps and games may stop working. It took three years for Apple to launch this new device.

This is because, as expected, iOS 11 removes support for 32-bit devices and apps, a move which could see nearly 200,000 apps go the way of borkage when the update arrives.

This one is out thanks to dedicated Reddit threads, which are discussing all the hidden features of Apple iOS 11. It's a change that's been highly requested by users for some time, and it follows in the steps of some third-party apps, such as YouTube and Snapchat, which already removed the clunky default volume indicator in favor of their own, smaller versions.

The free software update for mobile devices, iOS 11, is expected in September, when Apple typically releases new iPhones.

iOS 11 will see the traditional Siri mic icon replaced by a waveform ball of swirling light effects captured with a compact circle. That's because Apple Music still supports Apple's own ALAC format for music.

The iPhone's NFC chip now only works for Apple Pay.

Apple briefly discussed expanded NFC capabilities of watchOS 4 onstage at WWDC, but neglected to talk about it for iOS 11.

"More than half of young drivers can't bring themselves to turn off their mobile phones before driving". A user will be able to add some markers to screenshots before saving them. As per the report, the feature makes a similar pop-up notification like AirPods do for the establishment of a connection. On cellular data connectivity, the Mail app won't always show "Fetch" notifications. Users will no longer be able to use these social networks to log into any other app. This was first shared on Reddit.

Apple iOS 11's public beta will soon be out for users, by the end of the month. Apple iOS 11 beta is now available for developers.
