WWE superstar John Cena stole the show at Wrestlemania 33 when he got down on one knee to propose to his longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella. However, the possibility of marriage seemed unlikely as Cena had made it clear for years that he did not want to get married again following his divorce from his first marriage. "To be able to do what I love with the person that I love so very much, that's the moment I thought I would never have".
"Before you went into surgery, I told you there'd be a time when you were a little bit loopy and I could ask you anything I wanted and you wouldn't remember", he teased her. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for it to be any other way.
"It just kind of started out like a dinner date and I have to admit we were friends for so many year". "Well, the time is right" to reveal what he asked, the wrestler said. "The time is right", Cena said after the win in the mixed tag team match.
He continued: "You were kinda glassy, in and out".
I have to admit that going into WrestleMania season, this was one of the big questions that I had.
When I found out John dropped to one knee - and wasn't looking for a contact - inside the ring at WrestleMania on April 2 and proposed, I just about lost my mind. You said, "What is it?" "Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?" And you said, "Yes".
What a night! Unsure how the people of WrestleMania will be able to top that one, but I'd like to offer a suggestion of John Cena and Gronk face-off.
Happy tears! They always felt married to me but to see it.wow! The couple has been dating since 2012, but Cena frequently voiced his reluctance to get married and have children, which has also served as subject in Bella's reality show Total Divas and Total Bellas.
