Based on the wild success of last week's Melissa McCarthy appearance on Saturday Night Live, where she absolutely lambasted White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer into oblivion, McCarthy returned this week, starring in the show's cold open. Because when I say something wrong, you guys should know what it is I'm meaning.

McCarthy as Spicer also promised to "remain calm", especially after last week's episode where she sprayed journalists with a water gun for asking questions.

So last night, SNL chose to hit Trump where it hurt, with McCarthy's Spicer lifting her leg up to showcase the Ivanka Trump high heel she was wearing, a send-up of Kellyanne Conway's "free commercial" for Ivanka's products on Fox News earlier in the week.

The comedian reprised his role as President Donald Trump in a People's Court skit poking fun at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals judges' recent ruling against him and his immigration ban. We're going to pat her down, and then we're going to read her emails, and if we don't like the answers-which we won't!-Boom!

McCarthy-as-Spicer appeared in Saturday's sketch to confront reporters.

And from there, McCarthy's Spicer opened it up to the press - and opened up on the press, including an improvement to her reporting-ramming lectern. "Uh, oh, it's Moana", he yelled, holding the brown-skinned doll up to the TSA agent doll.

The real life Mr. Spicer hasn't been so amused of the show's take on President Trump. However, no one knew how effective and amusing McCarthy was going to be as Sean Spicer.

"And don't let me get started on her shoes - because these babies are a head-turner", McCarthy quipped, propping a foot up to reveal a graphic-print heel. When one reporter asks Spicer to explain what the Trump administration means by "extreme vetting", McCarthy as Spicer angrily attempts to break down what Trump's extreme vetting would look like. Spicey vowed to take it all the way to the "People's Court". "We all know there are two kinds of crime: regular and black", McKinnon said, before being shooed off by McCarthy's Spicer.

Joining McCarthy was Kate McKinnon, continuing with the gender-reversal by playing a mumbling Jeff Sessions. Conway said. "I hate shopping but I'm going to go get some for myself today".
