Alec Baldwin's Surprising Confession About Playing President Trump on 'SNL'

Alec Baldwin, the Academy Award-nominated actor who has frequently provoked Mr. Trump by portraying the president this season, is slated to guest host Saturday's episode of "SNL" on February 11.

Season 42 of "SNL" is averaging 10.6 million total viewers, compared to 8.7 million viewers around the same time last season, Variety reported this week. He's tense, he's angry, he's p***ed off, and that's not fun to play.

Jimmy Fallon and Alec Baldwin are going head-to-head (or Trump-to-Trump) - pitting their impressions of the president against each other. "I thought he would've kind of settled down, and relaxed, and said, 'Hey man, let's everybody kind of chill.' The president sets a tone". "So I must return, I must find the strength to". "Alec, you were just here, like, yesterday", she reminds him.

"What is he supposed to say?"

"It's the grossest thing I've ever seen in my life", said Fallon in Trump's voice when faced with what appeared to be a surgical glove stuffed with pimiento olives. Near the end of the segment, Baldwin also made a joke that he (as Trump) "deported" the Honduran that delivered the burrito to the studio.

Speaking to his wife Hilaria for "Extra", he said: "I am so grateful to be back and hosting the show, I can't believe I've done it 17 times".
